Mount a small digital camera to your car’s windshield or dash with Arkon’s CMP179 Sticky Suction Windshield or Dash Mount. This camera mount is compatible with all small digital cameras with the standard 1/4”-20 camera pattern, including the Canon PowerShot, Sony Action Cam, Sony POV HD Flash Memory Camcorder, Contour+2, ContourROAM2, and JVC ADIXXION 2, Fujifilm X-T1, Samsung NX1100 Smart, Olympus OM-D E-M1, Panasonic LUMIX, and Nikon COOLPIX. This mount includes Arkon’s Sticky Suction Mounting Pedestal with 3” Articulating Arm, a camera-compatible adapter head, and an optional 3M adhesive dash mounting disk. The car mount is ideal for windshields, dashboards, or any other flat or slightly textured surfaces, including desks or table tops. The arm of the suction mount adjusts vertically and provides 360° rotation, providing flexibility in positioning the camera at any angle. The sticky suction base uses a powerful combination of polyurethane gel and suction to provide a maximum surface bond. In order to prevent permanent indentation marks on soft vinyl, leather, or similar dashboard surfaces, Arkon recommends using the included 3M adhesive mounting disk. While incredibly strong and durable, the sticky suction mount is also easily removable and reusable. If it has a drop in performance, just wash the suction pad with a mild liquid soap and warm water then air dry to restore the suction.
